In Manta, Ecuador there is a boat yard located in Tarque, a suberb of Manta. They build boats there and they're all made of wood, then finished off with fiberglass. These boats are built with manual labor by skilled artisans and they do everything by hand.
It takes months to complete one and when you see them being built, it makes you wonder if it'll ever float but when they are finsihed, they're beautiful and very much seaworthy.
I shot these images on a overcast day. At first, I was inclined to delete them but I remembered that I can actually turn these around with the help of Photoshop and Lightroom enhancement tools.
